Lil' post. Just an iddy bitty one. :-)
I shouldn't be up this hour, I have school in the morning. To be honest, I'm only 10 minutes overdue to turn off the computer. I'll be chucked off any minute now.
But heck, I don't really need sleep. I have 5 lessons left (mostly DVD's anyway) and Friday is a half day which we spent cooped up in an overfilled sports hall for a usually-crap "summer concert".
My school is doing this new "vertical tutoring" thing. Basically, we get about 4 year 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's (that'll be me!), and 11's. The teachers seem to think this is a good idea. They get so confused, bless 'em.
Face it, teachers... they're like Youtube staff. Ignorant. Don't listen. For instance, the teachers tells you off for talking in class, but they do it all the bloody time!
Where was I? Ah, yes. We also change our tutor teachers, which is annoying because I had Mrs. Stokes - who honestly isn't bad as far as teachers go. Not too shoudy. Old. Brain only mildly frazzled, unlike some teachers I could mention.
New tutor - Mr Tanner. Of course you don't know who he is. He's usually strict and moody. A maths teacher. But he was genuinly happy to have me in his tutor group.
He obviously hasn't gotten to know me yet.
Nah, I'm not that bad. So today, when we spent 20 minutes with our new tutors for next year, he was droning on about how he's here to help, he's selling pencils for 2p more than he bought them for, but the profit will be spent on biscuits or a christmas party.
That part seriously worried me. He's told old for a mid-life crisis, so I'm just guessing his brain's lost it's spark. If it was there to begin with.
Oh me oh my, look at the time. I know you're enjoying this blog, but I gotta fly, bye!
(Tutor = registration groups in the morning, if you didn't know that, you should be ashamed.)
Do the happy dance... do the happy dance.
DO THE HAPPY DANCE!
