It's Sunday, it's sunny, I'm download a patch for WoW, I got 2nd three times in a row on a server of about 36 people in Trackmania Nations... what's not to be happy about?
WELL... I have to find out how to temporarily remove firewall to continue patching WoW.
And I've never gotten first on Trackmania Nations :S I was in first place for most of a race, then, with five seconds until the end... "Blah blah blah has taken first place".
But I'm still in a very good mood.
Actually, checking the downloader, the firewall only seems to be slowing it down a little bit. Heh.
If I'm able to play World Of Warcraft again, I will. I don't care. I'm not going to log on every day, see the icon on my desktop, feel the nostalgia and try to ignore it because I'm worried about getting addicted to it. Life's to fun.
I just hope the private servers don't NEED Wrath of the Litch King, or I'm screwed unless I can find a Pre-Wotlk or Pre-BC server.
It feels good but nerdy to talk about WoW again. And now I'm wondering if I should download Steam.
Or Xfire.
But I really really shouldn't!
I mean really really really shouldn't!
I know they won't do any damage to the computer, but there's two things:
1) Memory, haven't checked how much this comp has.
2) I'm not supposed to download anything anyway. That isn't a strict rule (and, heck, I've already broken it with TM Nations) but I shouldn't do it anyway.
I think I'm only just starting to come to terms with having the internet back. Most days I play TM and Roblox, but now I'm starting to see the bigger picture.
